Who we are

This website is operated by [registered legal name — replace before launch], trading as Open Sign Studio, at [registered business address — replace before launch]. We are the data controller for anything collected here.

What we collect

Only what you type into a form, plus one technical detail we need to keep those forms usable:

• Consult request — your name, the email address or phone number you give us, and optionally your business. You choose what to put in these fields.
• Newsletter sign-up — your email address.
• IP address — recorded with each form submission and used solely to rate-limit abuse. It is not used to identify you, build a profile, or target anything at you.

What we do not collect

We want to be specific here, because most sites cannot say this:

• No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no product analytics, and no session recording on this site.
• No advertising or tracking scripts, and no third-party pixels.
• No cookies are set by this website. Your light or dark theme preference is stored in your browser's local storage; it never leaves your device and is not sent to us.
• No payment details are taken on this site.

Why we use it, and on what basis

• To reply to a consult request and arrange a call — because you asked us to get in touch.
• To send the newsletter — with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To keep the forms working — our legitimate interest in preventing automated abuse, which is the only reason we store an IP address.

Who else handles it

We keep the list of third parties as short as we can. Each of these processes data on our instructions:

• Supabase — stores form submissions and the content of this site.
• [website host, e.g. Vercel — replace before launch] — serves this website.
• Our email provider — used to reply to you and to send the newsletter.

How long we keep it

Consult requests are kept while we are in conversation and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. IP addresses attached to submissions are kept only as long as they are useful for abuse prevention. If you want something removed sooner, ask and we will remove it.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link, and you can also just email us. We will not make you jump through hoops, and we will not charge you.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle your information will be flagged to anyone on the newsletter.
